At Jupiter Play, we're passionate about creating exceptional outdoor spaces that inspire children, families and communities to be more active, imaginative and connected.
As one of the UK's leading specialists in playgrounds, outdoor fitness and sports facilities, we design, supply and install inspiring play spaces across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced and organised Contracts & Aftersales Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role combining project management, team leadership and customer service. You will manage your own portfolio of installation projects while providing day-to-day guidance and support to the Contracts & Aftersales team.
The role will also provide an exciting opportunity to take on additional operational and management responsibilities during our Head of Contracts & Aftersales' maternity leave. This will give you valuable exposure to the wider management of the department and allow you to develop your leadership skills. Once our Head of Contracts & Aftersales returns, the role will focus on managing your own projects and supporting the wider department.
No two days are the same, and this role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and working closely with both people and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day guidance, support and mentoring to the Contracts & Aftersales team.
- Manage your own portfolio of installation projects from order confirmation through to final handover.
- Process project orders and purchase orders through Sage.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries and installation programmes.
- Develop and manage project programmes, identifying and addressing risks, delays and variations.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project costs, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in line with agreed budgets.
- Attend client and site meetings where required.
- Coordinate snagging, completion and handover documentation.
- Ensure project information and records are accurately maintained within Salesforce.
- Support the team in managing warranty and aftersales enquiries.
- Take ownership of escalated customer issues and work with colleagues and suppliers to find effective solutions.
- Support the preparation of spare parts quotations and orders.
- Identify recurring issues and help implement improvements to reduce future problems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication and ways of working within Contracts & Aftersales.
- Work closely with Sales, Design, and Finance to ensure a smooth transition from sale through to project completion.
- Contribute to improving customer experience and operational performance.
- Help coordinate workloads, priorities and resources across the team.
- Support colleagues with more complex projects, customer issues and subcontractor queries.
- Help maintain a positive, collaborative and customer-focused team culture.
- During the Head of Contracts & Aftersales' maternity leave, take on additional operational and management responsibilities to support the effective running of the department.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has experience in project or contract management and is ready to take the next step in their career into a team leadership role.
You will be a confident communicator who enjoys supporting others and is comfortable taking ownership when things don't go to plan. You will also have:
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.

- The confidence to make decisions and manage issues through to resolution.
- A genuine interest in developing and supporting people.
- Experience within construction, landscaping, playgrounds, outdoor works or a similar project-based environment.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM Regulations, as well as experience working with CAD drawings/site layouts.
Desirable:
