We're looking for an experienced Contracts Delivery Manager to join us on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Contracts team and oversee the successful delivery of installation projects from order confirmation through to final handover.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, you'll lead and support our Contracts team while managing the successful delivery of installation projects across the UK.

Working closely with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You'll also oversee subcontractor performance, resource planning and compliance with CDM Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.

This is a varied leadership role where you'll combine project management, commercial awareness and people leadership to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of installation projects from order confirmation through to completion.
  • Manage and develop the Contracts team through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
  • Allocate projects and resources across the team and subcontractor network.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor project costs, profitability and commercial performance.
  • Manage project programmes, risks and customer communications.
  • Review and approve key project documentation, including RAMS, CPPs and programmes of work.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Attend client and site meetings where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the department.
  • Support the wider business with technical and commercial expertise.

About You

We're looking for an experienced leader who enjoys managing projects, developing people and building strong relationships.

You'll ideally have:

  • Five or more years' experience managing construction or installation projects.
  • Previous experience leading and developing a team.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Experience within the playground, landscaping or wider construction industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction Health & Safety.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project profitability.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple live projects.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience interpreting CAD drawings and site levels.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
  • PRINCE2 or another recognised Project Management qualification.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Sage.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project.

Working Hours

We're ideally looking for someone to work full-time, Monday to Friday. However, we recognise the value of flexibility and would also consider applications from candidates seeking a part-time working arrangement.
