The FSPA will be holding a Brexit Meeting for all members in Finsbury Park, London, on Monday 27 March 2017. Invitations will be sent out shortly.

Now that the government has published a White Paper setting out its Brexit plans, are we any the wiser about what Brexit means for UK sports and play businesses?

As the document lays out the government’s 12 ‘principles’ including migration control and ‘taking control of our own laws’, how will these principles affect day-to-day business?

FSPA Managing Director, Jane Montgomery, has been invited to a Policy Briefing Event by the Department of International Trade on 24 February. ‘We’ll hear from teams across the department’s Trade Policy Group about their work to influence the trade policy agenda within the EU and their preparations for an independent trade environment after the UK exit,’ says Jane. ‘It’s also an opportunity to ensure they understand our priorities and concerns.

“If there is a specific topic or speaker you would like to hear or if you would like to be involved in the Position Papers going forward, please email or call me on 02476 414999. We want to make the meeting as informative as possible and get members’ views to feed back to UK Government.”
